Introduction

Polymesh users can use WalletConnect on a desktop or smartphone to sync their wallet accounts, manage their POLYX tokens and interact with Polymesh, such as token transfers and staking.

This guide will walk you through the process of setting up WalletConnect to use Polymesh.

Connect your mobile wallet to a desktop with WalletConnect

Before using WalletConnect, you must have a Polymesh account generated in a mobile wallet like Nova Wallet or SubWallet.

• Open the Polymesh Portal then click on WalletConnect.
• A QR code will be generated on the next screen. Scan the QR code with your phone.
• On your phone, tap on one of the options (Nova or SubWallet) to connect to the Polymesh Portal.
• You will see your mobile wallet address on the connection screen. Click on Proceed.
• At the top right side of the page, you will see the icon of WalletConnect.
• You can click on that to confirm the connected account. You can also disconnect your account from here.
