Introduction
The new Polymesh Asset Explorer serves as a user-friendly search engine for the Polymesh blockchain.
This tool simplifies the navigation on the Polymesh blockchain by organizing complex data into easy-to-understand sections and provides a snapshot of the identities, assets, and venues on the blockchain.
The Search Bar
At the top of the page, you’ll find a search bar. Enter any of the following to retrieve specific details:
- Polymesh keys and DIDs: You can search for keys on Mainnet (beginning with 2), Testnet (begins with 5), or DIDs (beginning with 0x).
- Tickers and Asset IDs: You can also search for ticker names and Asset IDs.
- Venue IDs: Enter a venue ID to find details about it. Venue ID's are numerical values.
The Menu Bar
On the left side of the page, you'll find a menu bar where you can navigate between Identities, Assets, and Venues. Each of these has a dedicated page with more information.

Identities
The Identities Overview page provides a snapshot of the total identities created on Polymesh.
Scrolling down to the identities list shows more information on each identity like the primary key, portfolios, and recent activities. This list can be also exported as a CSV file.
Assets
The Assets Overview page provides a snapshot of assets created on Polymesh.
Clicking on the ticker ID shows more information about each asset like the transactions, permission, and documents of each of them. The list of assets can be also exported as a CSV file.
Venue
The Venue Overview page shows essential information about each venue on Polymesh. Click on the venue ID to view its type (e.g., brokerage, exchange), creator, and active instructions.
Switch between networks
At the top right of the page, you’ll find a button where you can switch between Polymesh Mainnet and Testnet.
