A token's contract address is a unique identifier for a smart contract deployed on a blockchain that manages the logic for tokens. The contract address allows users to interact with the token's smart contract, such as sending or receiving tokens, or invoking specific functions.
Polymesh is a Layer 1 blockchain built on Substrate. POLYX is the native token of Polymesh, therefore POLYX doesn't have any contract address. Assets created on Polymesh can be identified with tickers instead of contract addresses. Smart contracts on Polymesh, however, can be identified with contract addresses.
