Staked operators
Active: the operator has been elected for this era and your funds are actively being staked. Rewards and fines are calculated and enacted per era (every 24 hours). Unless you are staking with a considerable amount, you will be nominating a single operator in each era with your full stake. This operator will pay rewards to you once the payout has been activated at the end of that era.
When first nominating, only after the next election will you see the operator(s) as active.
Inactive: the operator(s) you are staking with but have not been elected for this era.
Waiting: These validators did not get into the active validator set in the current era. They may get into the active validator set in the future.
Distribution
If staking multiple nodes, nominators cannot choose the distribution of stake. When more than one node operator is being staked on, the stake is split algorithmically based on the total amount of POLYX the user decides to stake.
To balance the amount of POLYX staked across operators, the operators with more staked will receive less of the user’s POLYX and those with less staked will receive more. Balancing the staking mechanism in this way helps to further secure the chain.
Unbonding/Edit Stake
Unbonding will take 28 eras (roughly 28 days) before the funds are released, editing your stake or changing a node will take effect in next era.
