Introduction
On Polymesh, every identity and asset related transaction that is executed on-chain must be associated with an identity that has a valid CDD claim that is issued by one of a group of permissioned identities representing professional KYC companies. Users who wish to transfer or stake POLYX do not need to onboard to Polymesh.
To on-board into Polymesh, a user must go through a simple due diligence process with a Polymesh CDD service provider - that CDD service provider will then create the users identity and attach a CDD claim.
Please note that the onboarding of node operators is a different process and not in the scope of this article. Node operators on Polymesh must be licensed financial entities. For more information, please visit this link.
