Who can run a node?

Permissioned node operators are one of the aspects that makes Polymesh different from general-purpose blockchains. 

As a chain built for regulated assets, Polymesh only allows permissioned capital market participants that meet specific criteria to author blocks. Node operators must be approved by Polymesh's governance.

Licensed capital markets intermediaries interested in taking part as an operator should contact us.

If you are not a licensed capital market intermediary, please note that you will not be able to run an authoring node, only a read-only node (not subject to staking rewards). Please let us know if you are interested in running a read-only node.
