Jumio
The process with Jumio takes two steps by capturing your ID document and your face via webcam or your smartphone's camera.
- Avoid any glare that could cover your date of birth or photo by ensuring you are in a well-lit room
- NOTE: it is imperative that you are the person entering your ID. Please do not ask anyone else to do this for you or you will not be permitted to onboard onto and use Polymesh
Netki
To get you started, you will need to submit your passport and take a selfie to successfully onboard with Netki. This process can be done from smartphone only. Today, Netki can only accept a valid passport. We are working to expand that to multiple ID types in the future.
- If you have chosen Netki from the CCD provider page, you will receive instructions and a link which you need to open from your smartphone.
- Before you begin, make sure you are in a well-lit room and have your ORIGINAL PASSPORT ready.
- On your smartphone you need to open a link from a context-aware app (like built-in SMS or email app).
- It will ask you to install the MyVerify app
- You will be asked to enter your cell phone number for security purposes
- You will receive a security code via SMS on your smartphone
- Enter the security code into the app
- In the app, please choose passport from the drop-down menu
- Take a photo of your passport by laying it on a flat surface. Be sure to hold your phone with two hands to keep it steady
- Avoid any glare that could cover your date of birth or photo by ensuring you are in a well-lit room
- NOTE: it is imperative that you are the person entering your ID. Please do not ask anyone else to do this for you or you will not be permitted to onboard onto and use Polymesh

Fractal ID
There are a few helpful things to keep in mind for the smoothest onboarding process with Fractal:
- To simplify and accelerate the process, use an international passport.
- Be sure to include a clear, full photo of your identification. This means keeping the documentation as flat as possible, well lit, and uncropped. Document images that don’t meet these requirements may not be accepted.
- Proof of residence documentation needs to be from within the last 6 months. Anything before will not be accepted.
- Your ID documentation needs to include a Machine Readable Zone (MRZ). This could be found on your passport or national ID depending on your country of residence. An MRZ looks like this:
